Community Services

Community Networks

The Industry Factory is focused on building integrated LEAN ecosystems within communities. For business owners/operators, part of our LEAN Learning Ecosystem program is focused on connecting you to other local businesses, community groups, councils and schools.

This creates a vibrant, collaborative environment where businesses can approach their local network to offer support and sponsorships, build relationships with students and job seekers and access business support through local community and government organisations.

The support model operates in a mutually beneficial manner, enabling local organisations to aid local businesses by facilitating connections with job seekers, support networks, and opportunities for grants and funding. These resources can assist in the growth, prosperity, and further contribution to the community through job creation and local purchasing.

At The Industry Factory, we aim to provide job seekers with an excellent head start towards a fulfilling career in manufacturing. Our LEAN Boot Camp program is designed to equip participants with an understanding and working knowledge of the language, principles and foundational processes of LEAN Production systems, enabling them to prepare effectively for entering into a role in the manufacturing or industry sector.

These community-based programs are designed to deliver training in either a local manufacturing business, which hosts the participants in their manufacturing facility or at a local community training facility.

These sessions can accommodate high school students, Year 13 students, job seekers and career changers.

These programs are open to sponsorship from local manufacturers, local community organisations and Local, State and Federal Governments.

We offer two different models depending on the needs and facilities available.

  1. Two-hour sessions run weekly for seven weeks

  2. Two-day program
